Welcome to my page.
Here’s a little about me:
Bio:
- I was born in London and grew up in San Diego.
- I speak English and French fluently and I love learning languages. I also speak Hindi, Bengali, Spanish and Korean.
- I received my B.A. in Linguistics at U.C. Berkeley and my Master in Fine Arts in Acting from Roosevelt University in Chicago.
- I’m currently in Southern California, working between San Diego and LA.
My work:
- Agency is really important to me. When I felt passed over for theatre roles in Chicago, I created my own.
- I premiered two autobiographical one-woman shows between 2015 and 2018. My second show, Hollow/Wave, premiered off-Broadway in 2019 with the United Solo Theater Festival.
- During the pandemic, I completed my certification in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) at UCSD, and taught English and French online.
- I pivoted to scriptwriting and wrote, acted in, co-directed and edited my first short film, AutoCorrect.
Right now:
- I’ve completed post-production on my second short film, Crossing the Desert, a bilingual short film in conjunction with FutureHome Productions and my friend and colleague, Executive Producer Josh Sobel.
